Mario Brunet is a Métis artist with Algonquin roots. Throughout his life he has been in search of his roots as well his healing journey. He has done numerous painting on birch bark and deer hide. But not only is does he have painting skills, he also does sculptures on wood, bone and anything else that Mother Nature puts on his path.

He has met with many Algonquin men and woman that has inspired him with the teachings of Native Spirituality, legends and walks in nature. The legend of creations, stories has led him into creating a new way of arts and crafts. His visions give him strength, wisdom and peace within and always in search to surpass himself.

Mario now teaches others on how to “find themselves” through native culture. When he walks with Mother Nature she shows and teaches us many beautiful things. We must always take the time to listen to the call of Mother Nature.
