Vision Deity

As I sit and drink my cup of hot chocolate tonight I am standing in awe at the shear beauty of nothing; the simplicity of nothing, here, sitting in the living room, I breathe, I pause a second, I think, I smile at the great gig in the sky…to the sound of nothing (or a Pink Floyd song, hehe!)

Never before has nothing been something to me. I am a stressed individual. I work a nice job but with crappy hours…9 to 5. That means I am always in the traffic, morning and evening and I fucking hate it and hate everybody in my path.

So, when I have a minute, like this one where I can write shit that so very few of you read (according to the site stats) I get happily happy for no particular reason. Happiness, what a tricky bugger that is. But I believe being ‘happy enough’ – I like the way that sounds. Because there is no such thing as being super happy. There’s happy moments but super happy all the time does not exist. What does exist however is ‘right now’ and right now I am happy enough.

Vision, deity, foam in the bathtub, sprinkles. Little noise.

Mac vs. PC…again!

OK so I have been using Windows 7 for quite a few months now, installed on a custom-built PC I have. It’s nice but it is nothing compared to the smoothness, simplicity and stability of Mac OS X…running on a MacBook or Mac mini, which are the two machines I own. Come to think of it, it doesn’t even come close. And, the thing is, it’s not that W7 sucks or anything like that. It’s the computer experience that is simply unmatchable here. I have never own a Windows PC or laptop that was as amazing to use as a Mac. So, comparing the OS alone, meaning Windows 7 vs. Mac OS X is just unfair. It’s the “computer experience” that we should always discuss, not just the OS, aiight folks?

Security is bullshit

Perhaps one of the biggest scam in the modern world today is Security. That word alone doesn’t mean a whole lot but when combined with other key words such as “job”, “family” and “nation” it brings out a totally different and powerful meaning. But when you think about it the word security is really only used to scare people, to intimidate you in thinking that security should always be taken very, very seriously…at all cost, at any cost. Security is power. And those in power, meaning our leaders, they looooove to use the word “security” and its synonyms.

You can make a career out there selling “security” and get rich too, like insurance companies, brokers and lawyers. Protect yourself, your parents said when you were just a teenager doing stupid stuff. In a way they were right, because in this bullshit society of kill-or-be-killed and where money leads the way it is always nice to have a backup plan, a bit of “security”, in case things go wrong with your life situation, such as a divorce or losing your job.

Either way you look at it, security sucks. Security divides us. Security frightens people and creates tension. Security is bad for the spirit of men. Security prevents us from growing. And the worse thing is that security doesn’t exist. It’s an illusion! It’s an idea, a concept, to make you feel better inside, make you feel “safe”. Governments & other grand leaders use it for speeches to calm the population and win their confidence. But it’s a trick. A silly trick to keep everyone under control while they unfold their master plans of…whatever they want.

Security is an illusion…and it is pure control.

Worst Songs Of All Time – Revised

Yes I admit I am very picky when it comes to music. Even though I like many genre of music, I probably despise pop music the most. Why? Simple, every time you turn on the radio or watch music videos on TV what is it you hear the most: The same five freakin’ songs fifteen times a day for three months! So, obviously, for this reason I rarely listen to any radio or music videos. So this brought me to this project…

I realize, it’s much easier to do a top 40 of the worst songs ever than the other way around! Right? I do love a truck load of songs but just for the fun of it I felt like doing this! So here it is….BitBurn’s Worst Songs of all time list!

Now before any of you don’t agree with my chart, I want you to know this:

  1. This is strictly based on the song, not the artist nor the genre. Let’s face it, everyone knows Celine Dion is an incredible singer but, man, she sings a lot of crappy songs!
  2. I chose songs that “I” don’t like so it doesn’t mean there all crappy; they’re just irritating to “my” ears, that’s all.
  3. This is purely for fun. I wasn’t paid to do this!

So here goes…the order doesn’t really matter I hate ‘em all equally ;)
